The Biltmore Lift
The Biltmore Lift is a minimally invasive facelift and necklift procedure that is performed comfortably in the office setting under local anesthesia without putting the patient to sleep. The procedure is perfect for individuals who can’t afford much time away from their busy schedules, but desire a fresh, rejuvenated appearance.
The Biltmore Lift offers the benefits of a traditional facelift at a fraction of the cost and with much less down time. The procedure itself is easier to tolerate than most dental procedures, and can be performed in approximately two hours. Patients never suffer from the “pulled” or “windswept” appearance after the Biltmore Lift.

Dr. David Harley is a native of the mountains of Western North Carolina. He has dual training in Plastic Surgery and Head and Neck surgery at the prestigious Vanderbilt University Medical Center, The Methodist Hospital of Houston, and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Harley
performs the Biltmore Lift in both his
Asheville
and his
Greenville office locations.
Dr. Harley is double board certified by the
American Board of
Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and by the
American Board of
Otolaryngology (to

of training following medical school include training with two
separate ACGME
accredited residency programs, with intensive training in Plastic
Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery.
Short and Inconspicuous Incisions (Click to Enlarge)
Many people hesitate to undergo face and neck lifting procedures because
of potential scarring. With the Biltmore Lift, a “short
scar” technique can usually be employed, which is currently the most
inconspicuous of facelift scars. These close-up photographs demonstrate a six week postoperative scar from one of our patients. You will notice that the scar lines are found along the curves and shadows of the ear, at the boundary between the ear skin and the cheek skin, which makes them very difficult to detect.
